What I am dreaming of in 2018

The new year stands before us, like a chapter in a book, waiting to be written. …

So, it’s a New Year. It is 2018 and I am ready to rock! Bring out the planners. Create a fresh new vision! Build my future and further business/work/blogger prospects.

Before I tell you my favourite books or quotes of the year, I want to reflect on the year ahead. I want to broaden my writing prospects. Study more. Read more. Have more “quiet times”. Be more community involved. Join a church. I have just started attending KingdomCity in Wangara here in Western Australia with the senior pastors, Mark and Jemima Varughese. Their vision is “connecting, equipping and empowering people to bring the reality of God to their world.”

But I just want to further my education goals and reach higher. Aim higher. Get more and better fast tracked results health wise, financial wise or any goal-oriented points I put myself into.

My dream.

One word.

London.

Full stop.

I am enjoying the peace and quiet in Landsdale to reflect on what I personally want and strive to do. I have done the Reverse Bucket List last year. Tick!

I have set goals.

I want to be creative in my ideas.

But now is my time to put things into action and for once, use my decision-making skills and learn the decision-making process.

I have set goals and tasks, which I could share with you, but all I am thinking is, the “refresh” button. I want to start all over again, renew my thoughts, clear my mind, do it with a clean slate.

I am a goal oriented girl, and constantly talk about goals whether they’re long or short! My full dreams and aspirations and all the things I want to achieve. I am a very creative type, so doing things to create a program and become creative in everything I do would definitely help. I would love to create a platform for women to gain confidence in themselves. Starting a finishing school in Perth would also be a huge ambition/dream. I am ready!

Setting goals is the first step in turning the invisible into the visible. …

So, I am pulling out “Your Beautiful Business” Book by Emma Franklin Belle and going to re-read this short inspirational book to see if I can turn my dreams of this blog into a business.

Emma Franklin Bell is the founder of The Beautiful Business Academy (The BBA). The BBA is an entrepreneurial academy for creative women who want to accelerate the growth of their businesses and successfully build their brands.

Your Beautiful Business Book inspires you to leap into your business and build something that is soulful, purposeful and profitable!

Next up, I will go through the book step by step about decluttering and building a stand out clear vision for my business. Bring on 2018 with some new fresh ideas and a heart full of many desires. I will be working on a book review of this book in my next blog post.

Any tips?

Have you started a business?

What are your goals for 2018?

Have you got any writing goals?

Any travel goals?

Also, what do you think of me starting a Finishing School in Perth for young ladies? Please comment below your thoughts. I would LOVE to hear from you!

Set your goals high, and don’t stop till you get there.

P.S. I will add my favourite books of the year and do more Book Reviews this year along with some different self-help quotes in a new blog post.

Also, don’t forget to check out Emma’s website and claim your FREE copy of her book!

Inspirational Blog Book Idea

What do I LOVE to do? What are my passions?

What leads me to fulfilment?

These are questions I ALWAYS ask myself. I have always been the type to think about things that leave me feeling satisfied in life, and have a sense of achievement or excellency.

I want to create a life filled with LOTS of passion!!! Where I can talk to people about what I love to do!

I have many first loves! Coffee, shopping & reading – which are probably the main three things of my life! And now! Writing! I had my first EVER article published in the local community paper, The Pheonix last Friday and bought it just today to see what it was like!

I lived in Melbourne, Australia for 18 years of my life, so I have created my own sense of style, personality, and I loved my life when I was living there. Living in the suburb of Footscray, it was filled with diversity and I loved eating Chinese food mostly!

Moving to Merriden in 2013 changed me. I had a massive culture shock and I honestly didn’t get used to it till now! TWO years later!!!

I told a friend today that Merriden has changed me….. She responded with “HOW did it change you?” And I replied with this.

“Very good question! Because big city girls CAN be quite superficial/fake…. Not all…. And I’m not saying I was like that, I just don’t find having the latest Burberry coat to the latest Gucci bag is as important as having family and friends around you!”

What do you think of this statement I made? Is my theory too harsh? If you’re a city girl, is there something in your heart that needs to change? Appreciate life a bit more?

Maybe have a think about your soul……

I am loving a book I bought in Melbourne….. “Too beautiful” Beauty Tips for the Soul ❤️❤️❤️

It has so much TRUTH in it! And has beautiful quotes that make you reflect on life and what your soul needs to live a life of beauty.

A beautiful soul is better than a beautiful face!

It has beautiful quotes such as this!

Wisdom is better than pearls or gold. It is a quality that a lady needs to get through her day. Understanding is precious as well. Understanding people and what they go through in life is an amazing quality to have.

Is wisdom something you want?

Understanding?

I wanted these words to be a book as I hand wrote them, but I am thinking maybe one day I can create a “Blog Book”! Filled with quotes, writings, images and such in a book similar to “Love, Style, Life as I mentioned in Best Book Investment …. ❤️

I feel like, if I move back to Melbourne I will be HIT with inspiration because it is so full of fashion, great people, amazing art and culture and I can go to the L’Oreal Fashion Week which I totally miss!

Melbourne IS Fashion. Collins street was my home….. And I worked on Queen Street when I was 18 in my first job as a Claims Assistant at Gallagher Bassett Services, after a year it didn’t work out, but I remember with my first pay I bought a CUE outfit! And I still have it to this day! Cue was my favourite brand for a VERY long time! I shopped there on Collins street everyday when I was 18-20 years of age!

Being in Merriden it changed me because there is literally, only Target!!! It took me ages to adapt to just 1 to 3 shops!

I shall leave you with another quote from the book, and have a think about what you can do to create a “beautiful soul”…..

Do you want to organise charity work? For example, I am currently looking at maybe hosting a morning tea with Cancer Council here in Merriden!

Is there something you can involve yourself in to help out with your community?

Kindness is also another beautiful quality to have a pleasing heart.

Think about what you can do this week, where you can use wisdom or kindness!

What can you do to free your soul?
