A look into “Proverbs 31 Ministries”

Lysa Terkest

Lysa TerKeurst is the leader of Proverbs 31 Ministries and the New York Times best-selling author of Uninvited, The Best Yes, Made to Crave, and 17 other books.
As the founder of Proverbs 31 Ministries, Lysa and her team have led thousands to make their walk with God an energising and faithful journey by doing daily online devotionals, radio programs, online Bible studies, speaker/writing training, and MUCH more.

Lysa was awarded the Champions of Faith Author Award and has been published in multiple publications such as Focus on the Family and CNN online. She has also appeared on the Today Show as one of the leading voices in the Christian community.

Each year, Lysa is a featured presenter at more than 30 events across the U.S, including the Women of Joy Conferences. She has a passion for equipping women to share their stories through Proverbs 31 Ministries’ annual She Speaks Conference and writer training program, COMPEL: Words That Move People.

On her website she says:

“I’m passionate about studying Scripture and teaching from the lessons God is teaching me. I’m a simple girl who speaks about hope in the midst of my own struggles. Bringing God’s Word to life so that it makes a difference in our everyday life is my greatest joy in speaking. For those who want depth, I weave in some of my extensive study from the Holy Land making connections between the Old and New Testament. But I do this in a way anyone can understand. I’m also very careful to weave stories and examples that everyone can identify with. Together we’ll laugh, learn, sigh with relief, shed a tear or two, and walk away having experienced Jesus.”

Uninvited book

In this book, Lysa leans in to honestly examine the roots of rejection, as well as rejection’s ability to poison relationships from the inside out, including our relationship with God.

With biblical depth, gut-honest vulnerability, and refreshing wit, Lysa will help you:

Stop feeling left out by believing that even when you are overlooked by others you are handpicked by God.
Change your tendency to either fall apart or control the actions of others by embracing God-honoring ways to process your hurt.
Overcome the two core fears that feed your insecurities by understanding the secret of belonging.
Uninvited reminds us we are destined for a love that can never be diminished, tarnished, shaken, or taken—a love that does not reject or uninvite.

I particularly love the look of her book, What Happens When Women Walk in Faith.

This book has been featured on Focus on the Family and even Oprah! If you want to be challenged, changed and encouraged like never before, be sure to order your copy of “What Happens When Women Walk in Faith.” You’ll discover the five phases you’ll go through when seeking to walk closer to God and dare to venture toward the dreams He’s put in your heart. This book includes a Bible study, which makes it ideal for individual devotions or a group Bible Study.

In this book you will learn how to:

Reduce controlling fear by placing your deepest desires into His hands.
Embrace a sense of worth by realizing your desirability to Christ.
Apply proven Biblical examples to modern-day decisions.
Make your walk with God an exhilarating journey.

You can do ONLINE BIBLE STUDIES, there is a Bookstore, Radio, Devotions, Training and you can also donate if you would like to support this wonderful ministry.
